Really helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Central location with easy walkable access to most areas of the city and secure parking immediately behind the hotel. Check-in was seamless and the staff very professional and friendly, which gave a good impression of what was to come. It was also a lovely touch to provide fresh baked cookies to take to our room on arrival. The rooms are smart, clean and well laid out and we didn't experience any noise during our stay which was wonderfully peaceful. Housekeeping was excellent - I requested synthetic pillows as an alternative to the feather ones and they were left in our room ready for our return the same afternoon. Loved that there was a proper magnifying mirror provided in the bathroom and the towels were really good quality. It was very convenient having a good restaurant (Marco Pierre White) on site with the wonderufl rooftop cocktail bar upstairs too, as we didn't have to even leave the hotel for a night out with friends! Food was generally good, though my macaroni cheese was rather bland if I'm honest. Another evening we ordered room service dinner - fish and chips - it arrived within about 20 minutes, piping hot and delicious. Very efficient! Checkout was a very civilised 11am so we were able to enjoy a late breakfast. This was a buffet style affair - well organised, plentiful and delicious with healthy options available. Well done to all the team in Hull and many thanks for looking after us so well. All in all a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend and stay again. :-) Marc & Jane

The Staff were amazing. On arrival we were made very welcome by Myra and Jayden with lovely freshly baked cookies. The rooms were very comfortable and a good size. And very comfy large bed and a fabulous walk-in shower. The Main bar was lovely, airy, modern and there we got looked after by more amazing staff. Matthew, Sara and Lisa was so friendly, fun and helpful. Breakfast was greeted by the lovely Nigel and waiting staff were so attentive. I must say it was a lovely selection at the buffet for veggies like myself! it was a pleasure to chat with Andrew the bars Manager. Its wonderful to see how much he takes pride in his work and team. I must admit that i do travel alot and left the hotel feeling like friend not just a guest. A lovely 3 days spent here and shall be be back. thank you to all the team.... well done! Karen (Spain)

The hotel is easy to locate, close to a shopping centre. the check in process was easy, efficient and clear. also loved the fact we got a free late check out. the room was beautiful and clean and i loved the mirror in the bathroom so much i’m buying one for my room! perfect for getting ready for a night out. we then went to the bar upstairs and was served by a lovely young man, didn’t catch his name, but he made us some lovely cocktails couldn’t fault them. love that breakfast was till 11 too on weekends. we went down the breakfast was beautiful, so much variety and it was lovely. staff was friendly too!

The welcome from the check-in was very good. We had come by train so it's often difficult to not arrive a little before the due time. However, there was none of this " sit over there til 3pm" that we have experienced elsewhere. And on top of that we got hot coolies to take to the room, just what we needed after a long train journey. All the staff were so considerate, polite and efficient whether it be those at breakfast or those cleaning our room. The lifts were ultra fast. The breakfast buffet was one of the best of that style we have come across.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was a great size (especially having a pushchair etc.) The living area of the room gave our little one plenty of room to crawl around and play, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast (Buffet style) was good although some of the food had perhaps been sat for a bit too long but this was possibly down to it being quite quiet when we were eating, overall good and plenty of options to choose from, again great for kids who might be a bit picky!
